This is the first of a series of videos I will be bringing to you called "City Sessions". The idea is to record songs live in cool locations around New York City (and possibly other locations in the future). This first video is of my song "Rosalie" being played on a rooftop in Brooklyn Heights, NY. Enjoy the view!

We are excited to announce that Jarrod has been invited to perform in this year's Falcon Ridge Folk Festival "Emerging Artist Showcase" on Friday, July 27!
We are happy to announce that Jarrod will be performing (FREE) intimate shows every week at one of Greenwich Village's most prized possessions, Caffe Vivaldi. Jarrod will play every Tuesday night from 7:15-8:15pm at this West Village gem.
Caffe Vivaldi has been featured in two Woody Allen films ("Bullets Over Broadway" & "Whatever Works"), is the site where Al Pacino directed his first film, is on the very street where Bob Dylan walked through the snow with Suze Rotolo on his arm on the cover of his "Freewheelin' Bob Dylan" album, and for 30 years has been home to some of the finest singer-songwriters in New York City and beyond.
Come to this blast from Greenwich Village past every Tuesday for great food, drinks and an intimate Jarrod Dickenson performance!
Jarrod's final London show of his recent UK tour, at which he opened for the great Bap Kennedy, was reviewed, and rather favorably, by Alan Harrison for No Depression. Check out what he wrote!
"Wearing a trilby at a jaunty angle and being tall, skinny and possessing a voice like a young Tom Waits the young Texan Jarrod Dickenson cuts an odd looking figure on the stage but his songs are all extremely well crafted with melodies many of his peers would give their left arm for; but it’s his world weary voice and phrasing that will win him legions of admirers in the very near future.
California; about the haunting memories of an ex-love was simply breathtaking and Ballad of a Lonesome Traveler will resonate with musicians and traveling salesmen everywhere. Jarrod Dickenson – a name to watch out for." (Alan Harrison, No Depression)
